The Parish Council
Who are we?
We are a group of people from all walks of life, most with full time jobs, who care about Silver End and help to make it a safe and enjoyable place to live as well as trying to keep our historical 'Crittall' story alive. If you are interested in joining us or have a question for us, please get in touch using the details below.
Mrs Bea Temple is the Parish Clerk and if you'd like to meet with her, she can be found in the Children's Centre in the village hall on Friday mornings. Or you can contact her using the details below.

What do we do?
We meet once a month and discuss all things regarding our village such as planning permission, the use of the village hall, road safety and installation of the new speed indicators as well as plans for a new skate park.
You will have seen the recently installed Speed Indicator on Boars Tye Road. We applied for Community Initiative Funding to purchase the Speed Indication Device (SID). It appears to be doing a great job and we have had reports of vehicles dropping in speed when they are flashed with a sad face. There are 3 other places around the village where this can be sited. These are further along Boars Tye Road, in Western Road by the Western Arms and in Temple lane.
